Please Never Forget The Troops Who Are Doing So Much For Each One Of Us Do Not Miss This Letter And Pray For Such A Time As This
Joan Ann Warnell
Sep 4, 2007
Every time I fly like two weeks ago and next week again I see our troops coming in at the airport or going out in pretty large groups and make a point to stop as many as I can to tell them "Thank you for what you are doing for America and my family" - and add quickly, "I pray for you and yours and send out news letters to over 300 to do the same!"
The response is so awesome and even teary for some of these beloved of the Lord's who are giving up so much for all of us. So once more I ask you to join us to say a second, third or etc. prayer of the day for our troops and their families.
In your prayer please do not forget those who are in our V A Hospitals or those who have gone home to start their lives over again - Especially those families whose loved ones have gone to their home for eternity.
Pray for America - Pray for Hidden Things Here To Be Revealed (Mk 4:22) for God to take care of the things that concern us like the 2008 election, our judicial systems judges, our children's safety, all authorities, those who are greedy and hurt God's people by lies as to what drugs/foods will help when in reality they harm us while drug companies grow rich - (Isaiah 54:17)!
Pray for the poor people in this nation and let us help the poor in areas where we live and remember even though it is good to do we do not have to go to third world countries to help the poor as we've pleanty right here.
ABOVE ALL OBEY GOD AND DO WHAT HE IS SAYING TO YOU AND PLEASE PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM AND THE JEWS SAFETY (Ps. 122: 6)!
Please pray for such a time as this!
Letter follows below:
Thank you. Joan Ann

PASSING THIS ALONG. NOT BECAUSE IT ASKed ME TO BUT BECAUSE I THINK IT IS WORTHWHILE....
"I recently attended a showing of "Superman 3," here at LSA Anaconda. We have a large auditorium we use for movies, as well as memorial services and other large gatherings. As is the custom back in the States, we stood and snapped to attention when the National Anthem began before the main feature. All was going as planned until about three-quarters of the way through the National Anthem the music stopped.
Now, what would happen if this occurred with 1,000 18-22 year-olds back in the States? I imagine there would be hoots, catcalls, laughter, a few rude comments; and everyone would sit down and call for a movie. Of course, that is, if they had stood for the National Anthem in the first place.
Here, the 1,000 Soldiers continued to stand at attention, eyes fixed forward The music started again. The Soldiers continued to quietly stand at attention. And again, at the same point, the music stopped. What would you expect to happen? Even here I would imagine laughter, as everyone finally sat down and expected the movie to start.
But here, you could have heard a pin drop. Every Soldier continued to stand at attention. Suddenly there was a lone voice, then a dozen, and quickly the room was filled with the voices of a thousand Soldiers, finishing where the recording left off:
"And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave, O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?"
It was the most inspiring moment I have had here in Iraq . I wanted you to know what kind of Soldiers are serving you here.
Written by Chaplain J. H.on 5/14/07. LSA Anaconda is at the Balad Airport in Iraq , north of Bagdad .
Remember them as they fight for you! Pass this along as a reminder to others to be ever in prayer for all our soldiers serving us here at home and abroad... For many have already paid the ultimate price....
