The Place Where Satan Can't Touch You

Friday, May 13, 2005

Beloved, can you imagine being in a place where satan can't touch you?

Heaven may be your answer, but this is not totally correct. We should all know that when we are in heaven from which satan was cast out long ago, he will not be there and he will never go back there. I am talking about satan not touching you right here on earth NOW!

See 1 John 5:18 AMP:

"We know (absolutely) that anyone born of God does not (deliberately and knowingly) practice committing sin, but the One Who was begotten of God carefully watches over and protects him [Christ's divine presence within him preserves him against the evil], and the wicked one does not lay hold (get a grip) on him or touch (him)."

1 John IS TELLING US, "God is love." So he that is born of love sinneth not. He keeps himself in Love (who is God), and the devil cannot get to him.

Right now please remember that there is NO FEAR IN LOVE. Why? The answer is: God is Love. What would there be for Him to fear? The devil? Surely not! THERE IS NO FEAR IN LOVE, and the devil is the spirit of fear. That is the reason why Love is at work in a believer who casts out fear. 1 John 4:18 shows us how this is true.

See 1 John 4:18 KJV:

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love."

Look at 1 John 1:5 KJV:

"This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light and in him is no darkness at all."

Once again, satan IS the spirit of darkness. Darkness can never enter into light, because it is always the result of the removal of light and it cannot ever replace it by its own power can it? No matter how dark it is, it is powerless to overcome light.

Our wonderful Abba Father God, Who is light, has given us through Jesus, the Son of light, the very Light of Himself. John 1:1-5 tells us He is the Light of men, and in James 1:17 it tells us He is the Father of Lights.

See 1 Thess. 5:5 KJV:

"Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day; we are not of the night, nor of darkness."

Awesome! Now see Eph. 5:8 KJV:

"For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.

Beloved, You are Light you don't just have light. Light Himself IS YOUR ABBA FATHER GOD. Because you're born of Light, you don't just have Love you are born of Love. You are joint heir with the Son of Love, Jesus THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. Glory to God!

See Romans 13:9-12 KJV:

"9 For this, THOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, THOU SHALT NOT KILL, THOU SHALT NOT STEAL, THOU SHALT NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS, THOU SHALT NOT COVET; and there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR AS THYSELF.

10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light."

Romans 13:9-12 declares how by keeping the commandment day by day while never breaking it without immediately repenting, we will not be breaking the commandment of Love by acting in darkness because we keep on the armor of light.

Always remember this protective Light comes from the inside out from your innermost being from your reborn spirit and is manifest through your body as armor. Others may even see it. For sure we know the devil and demons not only see it and flee from it, but also the very angels of God or (angels of Light) see it and love it because that is where they live and excel in strength.

Let's look at some Word here and put this thing about Light, Darkness, Fear, and Love together.

John 14:21 KJV:

"He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me; and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him."

John 15:10 KJV: "If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love, even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love."

1 John 1:6-7 KJV: "6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."

1 John 2:3-11 KJV:

"3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected; hereby know we that we are in him.

6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.

8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.

9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.

10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes."

Now let us look at Jesus walking in this Light and that wicked one touching Him not.

John 8:59 KJV:

"Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by."

Luke 4:28-30 KJV:

"28 And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,

29 And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.

30 But he passing through the midst of them went his way."

Darkness could not touch Him when He hid Himself in the armor of Light. Confess the sin, keep the commandment, and stay in the Light!

This message needs to be told to all believers, and this is what I am doing in this article for such a time as this.

Love and Blessings,

Joan Ann
